Award Winning Book Lists
Kansas State Award/William Allen White Awards:
This is a collection of books for grades 6-8. The tops books
are voted on and chosen by Kansas students each year.
This award is considered the most distinguished
contribution to American literature for children.
This award is presented to a
Latino/Latina writer and illustrator whose work best portrays,
affirms, and celebrates the Latino cultural experience in an
outstanding work of literature for children and youth.
